John Wollaston Anglican Community School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational day School in Camillo, distinguished by our Anglican ethos, strong values and whole school approach.
We are a World School of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme with a strong academic and pastoral reputation. Our pastoral care program develops the whole person through unique Encounter experiences which facilitate character development and personal growth. Students can serve the community via service-learning projects, teaching them to be humble and caring while learning the lifelong value of giving back.
Our outstanding Year 7 program assists students in transitioning to secondary schooling. Year 7s are housed in a purpose-built centre and guided through a year-long transition journey building the skills and confidence to cope with the challenges of Year 8 and beyond.
Students undertaking an ATAR pathway are offered a full complement of subjects. The class of 2018 achieved the outstanding median ATAR of 85.65, well above the state median. More than two-thirds of our students achieved a ranking in the top 20 per cent of WA ATAR students.
The Vocational Education and Training pathway offers certificate-level courses and workplace learning experiences to prepare for the real world beyond school. Hospitality students access a fully equipped commercial kitchen and operate our own Chalk Café weekly. The School’s network of trade and business opportunities with external organisations provide students with valuable experiences.
John Wollaston graduates leave with a strong foundation for life. A bright future awaits.
