Redeemer Lutheran College (RLC) is a co-educational Christian college for Prep to Year 12 students, located on Brisbane’s Southside, in the heart of Rochedale.
Redeemer is an exceptional community for students, families and teachers. Through our approach to excellence in teaching and learning, our extensive co-curricular offerings and our heart for community service, we seek to inspire students to be curious about their learning, be courageous and innovative in meeting challenges, and Christ-led in their relationships.
Redeemer Lutheran College is a high-achieving school, with most Senior School leavers scoring strongly in the ATAR ranking. In 2020, at least 10% of our students achieved an ATAR of 95 or higher. 25% of our students received a tertiary offer before ATARs were released and over 90% of students received a tertiary offer, with most of these receiving direct entry into their first choice. While the majority of school-leavers proceed directly to university studies, vocational pathways are also supported through TAFE studies and traineeships offered in the senior years.
Redeemer is a co-educational Christian school, owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia, Queensland District. All teaching, learning and activities take place in the context of the Christian faith as understood and taught by the Lutheran Church of Australia. Our faith provides the foundations for our standards and values and is explored through daily worship and Christian Studies, a compulsory subject in Prep to Year 12.
Redeemer is located on the border of Brisbane and Logan cities in a semi-rural setting with leafy, landscaped grounds that provide a beautiful, peaceful and engaging environment for our community. With a Prep to Year 12 enrolment of approximately 1,000 students, the college is notable for its use of open spaces.
