About our College

Welcome to Braemar College, a regional, independent, coeducational school where, through relationships, we engage, stimulate and challenge every student, with an aim to inspire exemplary personal outcomes.

At our College, we are committed to fostering optimal student engagement and motivation. Through contemporary teaching practices that emphasise creativity, innovation, and critical thinking, we ignite a passion for learning that leverages classroom experiences. Our College culture celebrates academic excellence, encouraging students to strive for their personal best in all endeavours.

The spirit of learning

We believe in nurturing the holistic development of our students, promoting positive relationships, and supporting individual differences through comprehensive wellbeing programs. From mind to body to spirit, we ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow and flourish.

Extensive opportunities

Students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities, including sports, arts, and community service initiatives. Our students embark on meaningful service trips both interstate and overseas, fostering a sense of global citizenship and compassion.

One such extraordinary opportunity is our alternative to schoolies program in Nepal, where students engage in community service at a primary school before embarking on a trek to Mt Everest Base Camp—an experience that enriches their lives and broadens their perspectives.

Curriculum

At Braemar College, we embrace inclusivity and offer open entry to students. Our flexible curriculum allows students to pursue their academic goals towards the VCE Certificate. We support those undertaking external VET Certificates, which incorporate a day of training away from the College by their external provider.

Join us on our journey as we strive towards our strategic vision of becoming an ELC to Year 12 institution. With state-of-the-art facilities, including a brand-new multipurpose hall at our Middle School campus equipped with specialist classrooms, Braemar College is shaping the future of education for our children.

Experience the Braemar difference—where learning knows no bounds and every student is empowered to succeed.
