Australian Christian College Moreton is a Prep-12, co-educational, Christian school located in Caboolture offering on campus education to students across the Moreton Bay Region and distance education to students throughout Queensland, interstate, and overseas.
On Campus
Our school is a warm, caring and friendly environment where children flourish and parents always feel welcome. We offer a rigorous academic program that is tailored to each child's abilities. Our teachers are passionate about their work and are committed to providing the best possible education for our students.
Outside of the classroom, we offer a number of field trips and excursions for our students to enjoy as well as swimming lessons and camps. We also have a strong focus on community service, and our students have the opportunity to give back to the local community through a number of different initiatives. The staff at ACC Moreton are dedicated to supporting every student in achieving their potential. They provide a nurturing environment where students feel safe to take risks and try new things.
Secondary students have the option of technical and trade-based opportunities including certificates in:
- Aviation
- Fitness
- Plumbing
- Banking
- Crime & Justice
- Business
- Constructions
- Christian Ministry & Theology
- Hospitality
Students are also studying university courses in:
- Engineering
- Journalism
- Nursing
- Animal ecology
There are also many cocurricular activities on offer, so that students can explore their passions and develop new skills. In lower secondary, students participate in horse riding lessons, sound and lighting design workshops and camps are held for Year 7 (Canberra) and Year 12 (Emu Gully) students.
Distance Education
Thanks to digital technology, school is no longer constrained by four walls. ACC’s Distance Education School is a legitimate option with qualified teacher support, registered curriculum and university pathways.
From Brisbane to Birdsville, Distance Education allows your child more flexibility with their location and school times. They can balance their personal goals and priorities by adjusting their study times. Primary and high school students ‘attend’ classes online, away from the school campus.
Students work with their peers throughout Queensland, sharing their opinions and reflecting on what they have learned in class discussions. They complete assessment tasks appropriate to the subjects, including exams, essays and multimedia projects.
It’s the best of both worlds. Your child can do school on their terms.
Uniquely, we provide plenty of opportunities for students to connect, but no requirement to do so. It’s the best of both worlds.
These include the following non-compulsory opportunities:
- Weekly webinars
- Class connect
- Online clubs
- Connection days
- Sports carnivals
- Award days and formals
- Virtual celebrations
- Camps and trips
