Edinburgh College Basketball Academy currently offers 3 year basketball scholarships.These scholarships are 25-50% off the tuition fees for students attending EdinburghCollege and include a 50% reduction in fees for the Edinburgh College CommunityAcademy on Thursday evenings.

Eligibility

In order for a student to be considered for a scholarship it is expected that;- The applicant is of good character- The applicant has achieved good grades and a positive report from theirprevious school/s- The applicant is willing to uphold the values of Edinburgh College- The applicant understands that a scholarship requires them to engage in all ofthe Edinburgh Basketball Academy and Community Academy projectsincluding school holiday camps- The applicant will play with good sportsmanship and foster the positive cultureand nature of Edinburgh College- The applicant will have been playing basketball for a number of seasons, ateither high level domestic, or representative level- The applicant will provide references from at least two basketball coaches whowill be contacted in regards to their character, coachability, on court abilities,attitude and attendance to training and games- The applicant understands that Edinburgh College has a high level ofacademics, and commits to upholding their academic schooling on par withtheir basketball commitments- The applicant will be above reproach in their behavioural standards.Progression to focus cards will result in their suspension from basketball teams.The possible termination of their scholarship will be investigated if they shouldcontinue to progress through the school PB4L system- Willing to give their best at all tasks on and off the court- Willing to ensure that their academics move in an upward direction, betteringthemselves both on and off the court
