St John’s College is an independent co-educational school, educating students from Prep to Year 12 for over 40 years. Our mission is to foster a love of learning, an appreciation of the Hellenic culture and to live the Christian values of love, kindness, responsibility and humility. We strive to provide high-quality education and care for our students within a vibrant, progressive and inclusive learning environment that integrates these Christian values across the curriculum.
At St John’s College, we are committed to enabling our students to achieve academic success while prioritising the development of the whole person. We work together to support our students’ growth by setting high expectations, providing personalised learning opportunities and prioritising pastoral care to achieve philotimo, the Greek word for ‘walking the right path in life’. Our education programs deliver wide-ranging experiences and opportunities so that all students may pursue their interests and develop their talents.
Our co-curricular and extra-curricular activities aim to enhance the academic, artistic, cultural, sporting and personal pursuits of all students.
At St John’s College we are proud of the strong, positive and caring environment that exists between students, teachers and parents. As a small school, we endeavour to provide and support positive relationships that allow everyone to achieve maximum potential and growth.
Our Junior School program provides a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest learners. We offer small classes, an engaging curriculum and exceptional teachers. We understand that the primary years are an important time of learning and exploration.
The senior school Pathways Program at St John’s College aims to provide a service that empowers and informs each student so they can make well-informed subject choices in preparation for life beyond school.
