Choosing a primary school is a very difficult decision for many parents, especially because it can also have an impact on the secondary school you choose for your child.
Some parents make the decision early on and enrol their child in a Foundation–Year 12 school with the expectation that the child will complete their entire schooling at the same place.
Be aware that you may change your mind at some stage in your child’s education. This could be because of the school — perhaps there is a strong focus on academics when your child is more interested in sport or the creative arts. Or it could be that your child sits for a selective entry school in their secondary years.
