School rating and rankings based on study score
Perth Modern School tops the list — it’s also the only government school and city-central based school to make the top 10. John XXIII College and Perth Modern School are the only two co-ed schools to feature.
Schools in thesouth-western suburbs make up more than half the list, with St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls (Inc) in Mosman Park placing second.
Six of the 10 were all-girls schools, with two co-ed and just one all-boys institution making the cut. Only one government school and Catholic government schools were ranked among the best performers in Perth, with the remainder from the independent sector.
