Yesodei HaTorah College has claimed bragging rights over its Victorian rivals, recording the highest percentage of students with a study score over 40. With an impressive 38%t of students topping 40, the Brighton school just pipped fellow perpetual high performers The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School (37%), and Bialik College and Mount Scopus Memorial College (36%).
In fourth place is Ballarat Clarendon College, the only regional school to make the top five with 34%, while Melbourne High School and St Kevin’s College both had 31% of students score above 40.
The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School and Melbourne High School are both government selective, while the remainder of the list hailed from the independent sector.
Median VCE Scores
The same schools featured when it came to the highest median VCE study scores but so did a stack of others. Ballarat Clarendon College, Bialik College, Huntingtower School, Korowa Anglican Girls’ School, The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School, Mount Scopus Memorial College, St Kevin’s College and Yeshivah College were tied for equal first with a median score of 37.
