The Geelong College has achieved the highest percentage of 40+ study scores in the Barwon South Western region, with nearly a fifth of its students achieving this feat to beat out Mortlake College and Sacred Heart College Geelong (14%).
Following them were Christian College Geelong and Kardinia International College (11%), Saint Ignatius College Geelong and St Joseph’s College Geelong (9%) and Lorne-Aireys Inlet P-12 College and The Hamilton and Alexandra College (8%).
There were four schools from the independent sector, three Catholic and two government. There were two single-sex schools in the top five, all-girls Sacred Heart College Geelong and all-boys St. Joseph’s College Geelong.
