Ballarat Clarendon College led all comers in the Grampians,
with 30 per cent of students achieving a study score over 40. This was not only
the best in the region but placed the school in the top 10 for Victoria
overall.
Two government schools (Birchip P-12 School and Kaniva College) featured in the Grampians top five, while the remainder were from the
independent sector. All-girls Loreto College was the only single-sex school on
the list.
The Good Schools Guide
has identified a top five ranking of schools according to the percentage of
study scores over 40, characterised by region. The list also clarifies the
school sector (government, independent or Catholic) and gender (all girls, all
boys or co-educational).
