Ivanhoe Grammar School has beaten all comers in the Northern Metropolitan region, with 20% of students at its Ivanhoe and Plenty campuses achieving a study score over 40.
Single-sex institutions Melbourne Girls’ College and Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School came in at second and third, followed by Glenvale School in fourth and a four-way tie (Catholic Ladies College, Northcote High School, Eltham College and Sirius College) for fifth.
Unsurprisingly, six of the nine schools on the list are from the independent sector.
