The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School has a strong academic reputation, so it was no surprise that they were at the top of the spectrum in the Southern metropolitan region, with 36% of students achieving a study score over 40.
Mac.Robertson came in second in the state overall behind Bialik College in the Eastern metropolitan region but also faced some stiff competition in their own backyard, with the entire top five from the Southern region featuring in Victoria’s top 10.
Interestingly, there was just one co-ed school in the top five for the Southern metropolitan region (Leibler Yavneh College in fifth position), with the list dominated by four all-girls institutions and two all-boys.
