The Good Schools Guide has collated all search results from January and compiled a list of the top five most popular schools in South Australia.
School | Type | Suburb |
---|---|---|
Concordia College | Independent | Highgate |
The Hills Christian Community School | Independent | Verdun |
Portside Christian College | Independent | New Port |
Meridian School | Independent | Aberfoyle Park |
Westminster School | Independent | Marion |
Concordia College, an independent, coeducational school
based in Highgate, topped the list. It is the only school in the top five that
offers the opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate, which is
likely a major drawcard for students and parents as it is used to gain entry into top-of-the-line universities around the world.
The Hills Christian Community School, Meridian School and
Westminster School are also located in Adelaide’s southern suburbs, which left
New Port-based Portside Christian College as the sole school from outside that
area.
All five schools were coeducational, independent and located
in the suburbs of Adelaide, with no rural entries on the list.
